The site on a reclaimed slag heap and covers approximately 75 acres which consists of woodland, various depths of water, rock crawl, uphill rock climb section, earth mover tyre section and covers all degrees of severity to accommodate the extreme modified vehicle and driver as well as regular road legal vehicles & drivers.

The site is continually maintained with additional obstacles being added or modified, all obstacles are designed with safety being priority.(all our marshals are qualified professional 4x4 offroad drivers) On-site toilets are also available as well as a DIY barbecue & drinks e.t.c.

Frickley offroad centre has a second site situated 1 mile away via private farm tracks, this area makes use of 100 acres of mixed mature woodland giving the opportunity to either drive around the forest rides or for the more experienced drivers to take various routes off the beaten track, some of which would test the very best of drivers & vehicles, this site is used only for club and corporate bookings in order to maintain the attractiveness of the woodland and protect the area from excessive environmental damage.

The site is also used by various 4x4 vehicle manufactures for promoting and demonstrating their vehicles, and for these letdays there is a campsite available which consists of showers, toilets, granary with heating & hot water for overnight accommodation or briefing room- dining room, these facilities are located quarter of a mile from the offroad site connected by farm tracks.

At this moment in time the site caters mainly for "pay & play" every second Sunday and is booked regularly by offroad clubs to run their own competitions and events e.t.c..
